Three amateur boxers, Antonio Hau, Deonisio Ramos, and Shevanio Henriques, alongside coaches Nekson V. and Benjamin Alves de Assis, engaged in Anti-Doping Education Learning (ADEL) Training on Friday, April 12, 2024. Conducted by the National Sports Commission (NSC) at the Magna Meeting Room within the Ministry of Youth, Sport, Art, and Culture (MoYSAC), the training aimed to prepare participants for the upcoming ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championship in Astana, Kazakhstan from April 25 to May 10, 2024.

The training session focused on providing knowledge about anti-doping regulations, including rights and responsibilities, prohibited list, and the doping control testing process. With the support of the National Sports Commission, participants are undergoing the International-Level Athletes Program, comprising 14 modules. Upon successful completion, they will receive certification from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

The initiative underscores the commitment of both athletes and coaches to compete in accordance with fair play principles and international anti-doping standards. By equipping themselves with essential knowledge, they aim to uphold the integrity of the sport and represent their nations with honor on the international stage.
