Dili, 29 November 2025 – The National Sports Commission (NSC), in collaboration with the Timor-Leste National Paralympic Committee (TL-NPC), conducted an anti-doping education program to support athletes and coaches preparing for the ASEAN Para Games 2025. The initiative aimed to ensure that all participants meet mandatory anti-doping education requirements and successfully obtain their certification prior to the Games.

The program provided education on key anti-doping topics, including prohibited substances and methods, doping control process, Therapeutic Use Exemptions, and the rights and responsibilities of athletes and support personnel. NSC also offered direct assistance and guidance to help athletes and coaches complete the required modules, reducing the risk of unintentional anti-doping rule violations.

This initiative is to promote clean sport, protect athlete health, and uphold the principles of fairness and integrity in competition. Through this collaboration, NSC and TLNPC reaffirmed their commitment to preparing Timor-Leste’s para-athletes to compete responsibly and confidently at the ASEAN Para Games 2025.
