Dili, February 24, 2026 – The National Sports Commission (NSC) successfully conducted the Anti-Doping Awareness Workshop as part of the annual event organized by the Gabinete de Inspecção e Auditoria (GIA). A total of 129 participants attended, including management and leadership representatives, staff members, and key youth and sport organizations under the Ministry of Youth, Sport, Art, and Culture (MoYSAC).

The workshop aimed to strengthen institutional awareness and reinforce the importance of clean sport within the national sports system. Participants were introduced to key anti-doping principles, governance responsibilities, and compliance requirements, highlighting the collective role of public institutions in protecting the integrity of sport in Timor-Leste.

The strong engagement and active participation throughout the session reflected a growing national commitment to transparency, accountability, and international standards in sport administration. By integrating anti-doping education into the GIA annual program, the NSC reaffirmed its dedication to ethical sport governance and to ensuring that clean sport remains a top priority for Timor-Leste.
