Dili, May 23, 2025 – The National Sport Commission (NSC), in collaboration with Escola Secundária de São Pedro, conducted an Anti-Doping Education Workshop at the school’s library hall. The event brought together 44 enthusiastic student participants committed to learning about clean sport.

The workshop was also attended by NSC Executive Secretary, Mr. Cesarino da Silva, Physical Education Teacher and Student Affairs Coordinator, Mr. Cristovão dos Santos, who encouraged students to take the lead in promoting fairness and integrity in sport.

The interactive workshop introduced students to the core values of fair play, the risks of doping, and the importance of integrity in both sport and daily life. Participants showed impressive growth in understanding, with knowledge levels rising from 60% in the pre-quiz to 95% in the post-quiz — an encouraging sign of the workshop’s effectiveness in inspiring the next generation to uphold the spirit of clean competition.
