Dili, Timor-Leste — The National Sport Commission (NSC) successfully delivered a series of Anti-Doping Education Sessions on 18 October, 6 November and 8 November 2025, reaching more than 150 athletes and coaches preparing for the SEA Games 2025 in Thailand. The program marks an important milestone in Timor-Leste’s ongoing commitment to clean and fair sport.

Across the three sessions, participants received comprehensive education on the athlete rights and responsibilities, Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs), the Prohibited List, and strategies to prevent unintentional doping. Importantly, all athletes and coaches successfully completed the official ADEL (Anti-Doping Education and Learning) programs for International-Level Athletes and High-Performance Coaches, developed by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

With 100% completion of ADEL course and strong engagement throughout the sessions, Timor-Leste continues to build a culture grounded in integrity, responsibility, and clean competition. These efforts ensure that national athletes are fully prepared to represent Timor-Leste with pride, fairness, and respect on the regional stage at the SEA Games 2025.
