On the 27th of March 2024, during the 3rd day of the study visit in Malaysia, at the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Malaysia, Anti-Doping Agency Malaysia (ADAMAS) facilitated an enlightening session for the National Sports Commission (KND) team with a detailed presentation by Ms. Azura Binti Abidin and team. The presentation covered various aspects including ADAMAS governance, agency history, setup, relationships with other agencies, funding, taskforce, successes, challenges, emerging threats, and collaboration opportunities.
Additionally, the discussion included a focus on Results Management (RM), outlining basics, responsibilities, the setup of an operationally independent Results Management Committee, challenges, and the importance of being prepared. This session also highlighted the potential for future collaboration between Timor-Leste and ADAMAS, particularly in Results Management (RM) and Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE).
